The Southwark Inter-Faith walk will take place on Sunday 9th September. It starts at 12pm midday at the Old Mill Building 72 Copeland Park, SE15, the home of Communities Outreach Ministries, a Pentecostal church. There will be a talk about the church and its community, and also their restoration of the Victorian factory building. This is [[Blackpool_Road|threatened by redevelopment]] and Peckham Vision and Community Outreach Ministries are working together to present the case for its preservation as an important historical and social asset. The walk will leave the building at 1pm and walk to Rye Lane Chapel through the Copeland Park which is home to several churches and a mosque as well as hundreds of small businesses. The walk also visits a Buddhist Centre and a mosque and at each stop hears talks about different faiths and also the story of each of the historic buildings. The walk is arranged by the Southwark Multi Faith Forum (SMFF) residents' team, and continues to other Peckham places and beyond.
