===1st & 2nd September 2017 Multi Faith Eid celebration===
[https://www.londonnewsonline.co.uk/30186/sun-shines-eid-festival/ Thousands of people – Muslims and non Muslims – congregated at Burgess Park earlier this month to celebrate one of the most important days in the Muslim calendar, Eid ul-Adha.] Among the guests were Southwark dignitaries including councillors, MPs and the Mayor of Southwark Charlie Smith. Eileen Conn, from Southwark Multi Faith Forum, and newly-elected chairman of Southwark Muslim Forum Mr MA Quddus were among those who attended. Neil Coyle MP and Councillor Maria Linforth-Hall were also invited guests. Festival organiser Musharraf Chaudhury said he was pleased the event was so well received by Muslims and also visitors from other faiths and no faiths.

===SMFF statement on the London Bridge attack 3rd June 2017===

On behalf of the Southwark Multi-Faith Forum, I wish to express our deepest shock and sorrow at the horrific, senseless acts of terrorism that struck at the heart of our borough last night. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have been affected by this dreadful attack, and to those who continue to work round the clock to offer support to those in need. <br>
Yet again we find ourselves, as a city and as a country, having to confront the evil of terrorism on the streets of our city. Yet again we find ourselves witnesses to tragedy. In the difficult days ahead, it is more important than ever that we come together, to support one another – united in the face of those who seek to divide us.
