Peckham Town Centre Forum

Introduction

The Peckham Town Centre Forum emerged from the October 2009 meeting of the Rye Lane & Station Action Group (RLSAG)[link to minutes]. There was a lot of energy at that meeting from all the participants for a continuing dialogue about the issues that need to be tackled to revitalise the town centre and to enable those, who have enthusiasm and energy to do something, to get together to share ideas. Since then ther have been several meetings:

• The first meeting was held just six weeks later on 16th Decembrr 2009, which continued the momentum. [link to minutes] [comment on process.] The key conclusions were

• The second meeting on 23rd February 2010, [link to minutes[] the [comment on cnclusions.]

• On 18th March, Peckham Vision teamed up with the Peckham Society and the Univeristy of Canterbury Architecture School for a Town Centre Forum meeting.

• On the 24th April a joint seminar was held with the Pioneer Health Foundation (PHF) on the modern application of the Peckham Experiment.
