Last Chance for Comments and Objections to the Tram Depot in the UDP

The six weeks consultation period for the UDP modifications is slipping away without much public attention. This has been the experience all the way through the last four years of the process. Many of the businesses and workers on the site designated for demolition for the tram depot had not heard of the plans until after the UDP public inquiry was finished in July 2005. So they were denied their best chance to say what they thought about them.

Now there is one last chance. Now is the time to register concerns that there has been no proper examination of what effect the tram depot plans might have on Peckham town centre. Peckham Vision is distributing a flier in Peckham town centre to give information to the public and explaining how to make their concerns known to the Council (Click here to download the flier).

The Representation Form which has to be completed and sent in to arrive by 4pm on Friday 13 October is available on the Peckham Vision website. Click here for the Form and for further information.
